About aifl
aifl stands for “ambassadors’ institute of foreign languages”. We see ourselves as ambassadors between languages and cultures.
Our founder
Valerie Pfeifle M.A. founded the aifl language institute in September 2014. She studied German as a Foreign Language, American Cultural History and Slavic Philology, passed the first and second Bavarian state examinations for secondary-school teaching and is certified as a teacher by Germany’s Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.
With more than 30 years of teaching experience, she selects highly qualified, experienced teachers from Germany and abroad. She speaks German, English, Spanish and French herself, and has basic Russian and Arabic.
As demand for translation kept growing, aifl added a translation agency alongside its language courses. Within a short time, around 200 qualified interpreters and professionally trained translators joined the network.
